College Rings Do Not Guarantee Careers

College rings are a great spectacle of an even greater accomplishment in your life. Not everyone has the opportunity to go to college, so if you receive this opportunity,you should make the best of it. By studying hard and making great grades, you will be thrown into another tax bracket. That is, at least, what they tell you. What they do not tell you, is that you need experience before you become hired anywhere. Well, how do they expect you to have experience if no one will hire you? This will never happen unless you have an in through a friend or family member, where you may be granted an entry level position so you can work your way up in the company ladder.
Many people start their careers like this and wind up being rather successful. If you do not receive this opportunity, then you may take a part-time job waiting tables or bartending until something better comes along. This is a great way to pay your bills for a while, but it is very easy to be sucked into the life of partying all the time and staying up very late. Make sure you stay focused on your future and which career you want to claim.
